About Wabi-Sabi Ideals and My Own

Life is a continuous cycle of experience, from which we learn and grow. An ancient symbol found in almost every primitive culture: The Spiral, interpreted as a universal being, growth, and fluid motion.

Wabi-Sabi: an ancient core Japanese Ideal, dedicated to finding the beauty in imperfection.

Through my practices within psychology, I hope to create positive well-being interventions, such as engagement in activities that foster flow, in order to bolster various aspect’s of the self, and increase intrinsic motivation to try new things.

I love Japanese culture and anime, currently learning how to draw manga!  I draw a lot of my inspiration from Japanese culture, artwork, and ideas. So, my blog will be filled with them!  I plan to travel to Japan once I graduate. I am currently learning Japanese !^.~
